Gary Null's No force Demo & press conference was awsome!

Held May 21, 2001 at the entrance to Attorney General Spitzer's offices at 120 Broadway in Manhattan, this event attracted 250 to 300 people. Speakers included: Gary Null, Ph.D. nutritionist, psychologist and broadcaster; Linda Andre of Committee for Truth in Psychiatry; John Breeding, Ph.D. psychologist from Texas for Safe Education; Leonard Frank of Support Coalition International; Larry Simon, Ph.D. from CUNY; Nathaniel Lehrman, MD Psychiatrist retired from the OMH's Creedmore and Kingsboro; Ellen Isaacs, MD internist from Coalition Against The Violence Initiative; Mitchell Cohen of the Anti Pesticide Coalition (?); Joseph DuBovy from the Green Party Mental Health Caucus; Dominic Riccio, Ph.D. of International Center for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology; Rita DiCarlo, director of Mind Aid and member of Disabled in Action, SCI, CAVI, ICSPP and Gary Null support groups.

The media was there, Channel 11 filmed, others where there who are doing documentaries and filmed most of us who spoke. Anna Szyszco was there but we only found out after the speakers were finished and it was over or we would have had her speak. We later learned that Laura Ziegler also made it, but since we thought she wasn't coming she was not on the speaker list or she would have been called out of the crowd which was so dense they could get through to us. All in all, this was a very successful event. We encourage Gary Null and the other speakers to volunteer to speak at future events our coalition has planned such as the one in Harlem coming up this month sponsored by the Coalition Against the Violence Initiative. We must all work together, supporting each others' organizational efforts to curtail the atrocities being forced on innocent, poor and "Majority of Minorities" people. Please stay in touch and let me know of any new resources we can use in future planning. If you are going to speak at the Harlem event, please let me know today if you could. Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with us.

In Marley's words, "One Love".

In Solidarity,
Rita DiCarlo, Mind Aid
