Capital Grace

The habitual, created grace of Christ inasmuch as it is communicated by Christ the Head of the Church to the members of His Mystical Body.  Because of the fullness of this grace, every grace received in history is a real participation of this holiness.  Capital grace plays an important role in the theological notions of salvation, redemption, merit, satisfaction, and divinization.  Moreover, capital grace is a central principle for the theological articulation of the nature of the Church.
