Second, it will recount the Council’s historical unfolding: its background, its convocation and preparation, and its four sessions. Third, it will review the teaching of the documents of the Vatican II, focusing on its four constitutions. Finally, it will study its ecclesial impact, theological interpretation, and magisterial reception.
